The Job
LOCATION: Belfast
TERMS: Hybrid working
REQUIREMENTS: UK right to work required (no sponsorship available)
Working directly with the Quality Compliance team, you will be required to ensure Fibrus is compliant in line with ‘PIA’ and ‘Openreach Engineering Principles’ in the field. You will conduct desk based audits and make recommendations to ensure we remain compliant. You will also be required to highlight any build and/or Health & Safety defects you come across while conducting your audits.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? (not limited to)
- Ensure compliance with specified PIA ‘Engineering Principles’ and H&S standards
- Conduct audits and reviews of all As-Builts when submitted to ensure execution of PIA compliance standards
- Conduct interviews, scrutinise details and ask questions to ensure field teams are compliant
- Support PIA admin team with Build complete process
- Work with the Principle Contractors to ensure prompt rectification of As-Built defects
- Feed any legacy town PIA defects to Field Quality Compliance Officers and manage to completion
WHAT WILL YOU BRING?
- Previous experience working on the Openreach Network or another telecommunications provider network is essential
- Auditing field work, both in-progress and retro-perspective
- Able to identity unsafe working practices and coach personnel on best practice
- Safe working practices when dealing with hazards
- Can demonstrate the ability to learn technical knowledge relating to products and services
- Fully PIA Accredited for underground and overhead infrastructure – training will be provided if necessary
- GIS experience
