Fibrus are an exciting telecommunications provider with the single focus of being a “Full-Fibre” broadband company within the UK.  Founded and launched by Conal Henry (Chair) and Dominic Kearns (CEO) by securing backing from Infracapital, Fibrus continue to deliver full fibre broadband to more and more homes and businesses across parts of Northern Ireland and Great Britain.

THE JOB

Reporting to the Enablement Director, this is a critical role ensuring programme governance is in place across the Chief Delivery Officers business unit, Network Delivery. Working closely with the directors across the unit and maintaining and presenting business plans form an essential part of this role. Living the Fibrus values and expecting others to do likewise:

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Executive dashboard creation and management to show progress and forecast against a range of targets / budgets
  • Creating and maintaining any presentations to Director / C-suite management level, including regular monthly presentations to the board and investors
  • Process Management – End to end management of deployment processes – ensuring continuous improvement is a constant focus
  • Managing priorities across programs – Providing the insights to senior management when priorities need to shift to a particular area at a particular time
  • Resource forecasts – internal and external resource forecasts / monitoring
  • New Project initiation
    • Creating internal operational PID’s prior to handover to the operational PMs
    • Managing the implementation activities of a new project / program prior to being introduced to operations
  • Business intelligence activities to assist with strategic decisions within the Operations team
  • Creating monthly board and investor presentations to support senior management stakeholder engagement
  • Owning the business units risk register, ensuring risk owners are progressing risks in a timely manner
  • Managing Long Range Deployment Plans
  • Leading a team of Programme Managers, ensuring stretching goals are set with support and coaching available to develop the team
  • Be flexible in approach and carry out ad-hoc requests as instructed by enablement director, based on business needs

WHAT WILL YOU BRING?

  • A demonstrable background in project or programme management
  • Advanced excel, power point, power BI and Visio or similar skills (Essential)
  • Experience creating executive reports and dashboards using software such as excel or tableau etc
  • Experience handling large amounts of data and being able to interpret this to provide clear insights across of levels of stakeholders
  • Experience in leading and developing a team of people
  • Being able to interpret instructions and work with your own initiative to deliver requests to deadlines
  • Being flexible in your approach and asking for support where required
  • Experience in telecoms is preferred but not essential and a construction or utility based background would be considered
