JOB TITLE: Business Analyst

LOCATION: Belfast – Hybrid

TERMS: Permanent

 

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? (Not limited to)

  • Supporting the department in the delivery of projects and programmes by way of investigating business functions, business processes, data structures, information flows, etc.
  • Investigations of operational issues and problems and seeking effective business solutions through improvements in specified business areas or systems
  • Specifying data, data objects and information flows that align with business needs
  • Production of business analysis deliverables using relevant documentation styles such as Business Requirements Doc, Specification Doc, Test Plans, Support Scripts, etc.
  • Facilitation of workshops and meetings for stakeholders to gather requirements and document process flows
  • Colleague assistance by way of analysis of underlying issues and their root causes to identify available options for consideration

WHAT WILL YOU BRING?

  • Supporting the department in the delivery of projects and programmes by way of investigating business functions, business processes, data structures, information flows, etc.

Experience

  • Significant experience as a Business Analyst
  • A proven background in delivering projects through Agile and Waterfall
  • Highly Proficient with MS Office Applications
  • Experience working within Telecommunications is advantageous

 

Essential:

  • Knowledge of business processes, analyst frameworks and business requirements methodologies
  • Ability to work autonomously and with a small development team.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Business / Systems analysis qualification

 

Desired:

  • Experience working with Jira
  • ISO9001 Document control
