Fibrus People Spotlight: Agata Miturska
2 weeks ago • 1 min read
It’s our first People Spotlight of the year, and we caught up with GB Fibre Champion Agata Miturska, who has found her home in beautiful Cumbria.
- Where are you from?
I am originally from Poland, but I have lived in the UK since 2018. Moved a couple of times, I lived in Birmingham, Bristol, and finally found my home in Cumbria.
- When did you join Fibrus?
June 2025, a month before graduating from University.
- What led you to this career?
I was looking for a job while completing my degree at University. I studied Business and HR management so I really wanted something that would help me improve my skills. The Sales Representative role looked like a good start, was helpful with my course and I’ve learnt a lot.
- What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to travel and spend time outdoors with my fiancé and our puppy. When the weather is not too good, I like to go to the gym/boxing class.
- What are you passionate about?
I love to learn languages, currently trying my best learning German so I can communicate when I travel there.
- What’s something you saw recently that made you smile/laugh?
An awesome husky puppy howling all the time whilst I was talking to the customer.
- How do you like to wind down from your day?
Good book and cup of tea.
- What does your typical day at Fibrus look like?
There is no such thing as typical day at Fibrus! Every day is different and that is what I love the most about this job.
- What’s your go-to productivity trick?
Start from the biggest task and complete smallest at the end. Or trying to divide work into smaller tasks, so it’s easier to complete them.
- What motivates you at work?
I have the best manager and team leader in the world!
- What’s your earliest memory?
Walking in the park with my mum.
- What book, movie, or music changed your outlook on life?
‘Deep Thinking. Where Machine Intelligence Ends and Human Creativity Begins’- Garry Kasparov.
- What’s the top destination on your must-visit list?
Madonna Di Campiglio in Italy, I’ve been there already a few times but it’s one of the places I could visit every year. Beautiful mountains, fantastic food and great atmosphere.
- What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
“Never stop learning” from my teacher 10 years ago. And I know she didn’t mean just school. 😉
