Play it Forward Fund 2025 is now open for applications!

Focused on children’s clubs and grassroots sports, the Fibrus Play it Forward Fund provides essential funds to non-profit voluntary and community groups, organisations, and charities across Northern Ireland and Cumbria. The Fund helps with a range of sports projects including, purchasing new kits and equipment, improving club facilities or subsiding training fees.

As a broadband provider, we champion the use of the internet and tech devices but also recognise the importance of switching off and getting active outdoors. We care about our local communities and strive to enhance the health and wellbeing of children within them.

We are excited to announce that we are allocating £50,000 to the Play it Forward Fund in 2025.

This funding will support children’s sports and projects in the communities we serve across Northern Ireland and Cumbria. Eligible organisations can apply for up to £1,000 in funding.

For full eligibility criteria, please read the Fund T&Cs.

Here’s how you can apply:

Do you know a local sports club, youth group, or community organisation that could benefit from this initiative? Why not share this exciting opportunity with them?

Together, we can help children get active, develop skills, and build more connected communities.

Fibrus Play It Forward 2025 will close for applications at 12 noon on Friday 3 October 2025.
