Last week, we had the pleasure of meeting with Charlotte, the lucky winner of our 80,000 giveaway, to deliver a tech bundle worth £2k to her house. Charlotte kindly shared with us her fantastic experience with Fibrus since her installation just over eight weeks ago, and we’re delighted it’s made such a positive impact on her daily life. Keep reading to find out more.

Can you share your experience with Fibrus since you joined and how long you have been with us? What do you enjoy most about our service?

We have been with Fibrus for around 8 weeks and honestly couldn’t fault it! The communication leading up to installation was brilliant and the installation crew themselves were super quick and tidy.

The broadband speed is fantastic and anyone that I have spoken to from Fibrus and their contractors have been really helpful.

What do you typically look for in a broadband provider? Is it price, speed, reliability, or something else?

It’s a combination of all three to be honest! We’ve been with previous companies that either hike their prices up drastically after the first year knowing you’re tied into a contract or don’t seem to want to help when you are having problems with your speed or reliability of the network.

How do you use your broadband on a daily basis? Are there specific activities or routines that it helps with?

I work from home 4 days a week with a 4 year old at home so having reliable broadband that can manage whatever I need to work as well as the TV or her tablet is an absolute game changer.

What made you decide to switch to Fibrus? Was there a particular feature or benefit that stood out to you?

I’ve lived in the countryside for almost my whole life and this is the first time that ‘real’ broadband has ever been an option for us. From the second the leaflets started coming through the door about the upcoming network we registered our interest online so we could get signed up as soon as it went live!

In what ways has Fibrus broadband positively impacted your life or routines?

We were previously using three mobile broadband devices just to be able to get coverage around 70% of our house, and constantly having the rely on mobile data on our phones because the second we connected our mobiles to the WiFi everything else lost signal. We couldn’t be scrolling on our phones while connected to the WiFi and streaming something on the TV. When my daughter was at home, I needed to hotspot off my mobile for work so she could watch her shows. Even our Alexa would struggle to play a song without buffering half way through.

Would you recommend Fibrus to your friends and family? If so, why?

Definitely! My in-laws live next door and are running off mobile broadband at the minute so our plan is to convert them! So far we have found Fibrus to me much more reliable and affordable than other providers.
